This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics and aggregate interaction counters to understand which pages and features are useful. The counters record daily totals for App Store link clicks, game starts and completions, section links, work filters, video starts and successful contact submissions. They store only the date, event type and public page or feature label, with no visitor identifiers, IP addresses, form contents or individual event histories. These counters do not set cookies or track visitors across websites, and honour Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Cloudflare processes network requests to deliver the website. The app policy below applies separately to the downloaded Lexigon app.
- Lexigon Privacy Policy
Effective date: 4 November 2026 - Lexigon is created by Guy Halligan and is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. No Lexigon account is required.
- 1. Data stored on your device
- Lexigon saves settings, puzzle progress, solved-word history and scores on your device so you can resume playing.
- 2. Optional iCloud sync
- iCloud syncing is off by default. If enabled, Lexigon stores progress and gameplay history in your private iCloud database using your Apple Account.
- Joining ranked pack competitions also requires iCloud sync so competitive results can be kept consistent across your devices.
- Turning syncing off stops further syncing but does not delete existing cloud records or local progress. You can continue playing locally without iCloud.
- 3. Optional Game Center
- If you join pack competitions, Lexigon uses Apple Game Center for authentication, leaderboards and achievements. Your Game Center identity, scores and achievements may be visible to other players according to your Game Center settings.
- Free Daily is excluded from competitions. You can turn off ranked participation in Lexigon’s Progress settings.
- 4. Purchases and downloads
- Optional themed packs are purchased through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes payments; I do not receive your payment-card details.
- Lexigon verifies purchases to unlock and restore content. Catalogue and pack downloads use Apple-hosted services. Downloaded puzzles can be played offline.
- 5. Maps and external links
- Some discoveries display Apple Maps content, which requires an internet connection. Lexigon does not request your device location to display these places.
- External source and credit links may open third-party websites. Their own privacy policies apply.
- 6. Advertising and analytics
- Lexigon contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- Apple may process service and diagnostic information according to its privacy policies and your device settings.
- 7. Your choices
- You can play without enabling iCloud sync or Game Center competitions. Manage these features in Lexigon’s Settings → Progress and the relevant Apple system settings.
- Turning a feature off does not automatically delete previously stored data.
- Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
